Social Login Policy

This Social Login Privacy Policy explains how the Google Sign-In feature used by BlankClothing.ca accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data. BlankClothing.ca is operated by Checkpoint1 Apparel Corp. This policy supplements our general Privacy Policy.
Purpose of Google Sign-In
BlankClothing.ca is a Canadian online store selling blank clothing and apparel. We offer Google Sign-In as an optional and convenient way for customers to create or access their BlankClothing.ca customer account without creating a separate password.
Customers are not required to use Google Sign-In. You may use the other sign-in or account-creation options available on our website.
Google User Data We Access
When you choose to sign in with Google, Google may provide BlankClothing.ca with the following basic account information:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your Google account identifier
- Your profile picture, if one is available
BlankClothing.ca does not receive your Google password. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Contacts, Google Calendar or other Google Workspace content.
How We Use Google User Data
Information received through Google Sign-In is used only to:
- Verify your identity
- Create or connect your BlankClothing.ca customer account
- Sign you in securely
- Provide account features such as saved addresses, order history and order tracking
- Provide customer service and account-related communications
- Protect accounts and prevent unauthorized access or fraud
Using Google Sign-In does not automatically subscribe you to promotional email. We do not use Google Sign-In data for targeted advertising, sell it to data brokers or use it to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell Google user data.
Google Sign-In data may be processed by BigCommerce and other service providers that support our ecommerce platform, account authentication, website hosting, security and technical operations. These providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to provide their services to us.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to a lawful government request, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and business.
Storage and Security
Information used to establish your BlankClothing.ca account may be stored in our ecommerce and customer-account systems. Authentication information may also be processed by Google, BigCommerce and their supporting technology providers.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including secure website connections, access controls and restrictions on access to customer information. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data Retention and Deletion
Google Sign-In information associated with your customer account may be retained while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or legal purposes.
If you place an order, related transaction, tax, payment and shipping records may be retained for up to seven years, or longer when required by law. These business records may be retained even if your customer account is deleted.
You may request deletion of your BlankClothing.ca account and Google Sign-In information by following our account-deletion instructions or by emailing privacy@blankclothing.ca. Information we are not legally required to retain will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
Deleting your BlankClothing.ca account does not delete your Google account. You may also revoke BlankClothing.ca’s access through the security settings in your Google Account.
Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us to request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or ask questions about how your Google user data is handled. We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our Social Login functionality or data-handling practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
