Our top product recommendations: Screen Printing

When it comes to screen printing, our custom division always loves working with long sleeves and crewneck sweatshirts for several reasons.

  1. There are no pockets, zippers, hoods or awkward seams to consider if they conflict with a customer’s design.
  2. It’s a complete blank canvas as work can be done on not only the front and back but the sleeves.
  3. Most long sleeves and crewnecks are constructed with cotton blended fabric making it easier for the ink to adhere to the surface.

Here are some of our recommendations on the website for screen printing:

G180: The Gildan 50/50 crewneck is one of the most popular options for screen printing. It comes in a wide range of colours and sizes and the 50/50 blend is a screen printers dream.

N3601: The Next Level Fitted Long Sleeve was a bold choice to choose amongst all of the other long sleeves being a newer item on the website. However when it comes to quality, Next Level does not disappoint as it is one of our premium brands. The fabric is made of 4.3oz 100% combed ring spun cotton fine jersey – in other words, it is super soft to touch and perfect for screen printing. Not to mention, it comes with a tear-away label which helps for those who have their own brand.

Please keep in mind, this does mean that short sleeves and hoodies are difficult to work with as majority of our custom division works with these type of garments on the daily.
